Last updated: October 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Demi-monde ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit lademimonde.com or buy from us.
What we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number, and anything you send us when you contact us.
- Order information: what you bought, when, and how it was delivered. Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment partners; we never see or store your full card details.
- Device and usage information: your IP address, browser and device type, and how you use the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use it
- To process, ship and support your orders, including returns.
- To reply to your questions.
- To send marketing emails, only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and improve how it works.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run the store: Shopify (our e-commerce platform), payment processors, the makers who fulfil your order, shipping carriers, and email and analytics providers. Each uses it only to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal information.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Discretion
Orders ship in plain, unbranded packaging, and your card statement shows LDM rather than the name of the store.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work without them.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for tax, accounting and legal purposes, and other information only for as long as it is useful for the purposes above.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, email us at the address below. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Age
This site is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
